Spring Checking Clinic - 2022
Specifically design for players looking to either, safely make the jump to full contact hockey or players who played one year of Bantams and are looking to continue to develop their game. Not only is this an intensive clinic on playing hockey safely it will also be a tune up for tryouts. Areas of emphasis include:
Heads up play
Proper body contact
Giving and receiving checks
USA Hockey rules on checking
Edgework and Powerskating
The format of the camp will begin with a how-to on body contact and move to drills, small area games, and ultimately culminate with a controlled scrimmage.
The dates are March 22nd, 23rd, 29th, and 30th. The cost is $175 per player and the one-hour sessions begin at 6:30 pm at South Kent.
